Plastic Trowels


Plastic trowels are used mainly to avoid surface discolouration and blade transference from steel trowels
They are also used to achieve special finishes with external renders, the plastic blade gives a different finish to steel trowelling
The trowel with alloy shank is supplied with flexible clear blade for white cements or stiffer grey blade for epoxies
The trowel with orange plastic handle has a nylon blade that is solvent resistant and can be used on decorative finishes and epoxy quartz
The range of trowels with black soft handles are for external render finishes and interior decorative coatings
Other plastic trowel blades are available for differing surface finishes

Plastic Floats


The range of Refina floats is one of the largest available combining three different sizes and faces
The ABS diamond face floats are excellent for modern backing coating plasters
The PU cross grain floats are for sand and cement, setting, render and screed

Click Clack Sponge Floats



The new click-clack sponge floats have a quick change plate with sponge attached that is easy and quick to change or replace
The orange sponge floats are produced with fine, medium and coarse 20mm thick sponge faces
They are the trade standard for sponging up plaster surfaces before final trowelling.
The dense sponge floats are used more often on render and cement surfaces
The yellow thick sponges are for use on tile grouts

Sponge Floats


The orange sponge floats are produced with fine, medium and coarse 20mm thick sponge faces
They are the trade standard for sponging up plaster surfaces before final trowelling
The smaller floats with denser sponge faces are for use on wetter plaster or cement surfaces
Sponge floats are often used in conjunction with a water brush to dampen the surface, or a large stainless steel spatula to smooth and level the surface
The blue sponge floats have a medium hard sponge with fine 15mm thick sponge face
